I'm an avid explorer with a nomadic heart. Born and raised in Texas, I relocated to California after college and spent nearly a decade bouncing around its coastal cities - from the sunny beaches of San Diego to the foggy hills of San Francisco and that little town of Los Angeles in-between. When an unexpected opportunity arose to live in Japan (thanks to the hubs!), I decided to trade in my fish tacos for ramen. I bid farewell to my fashion industry gig and packed my bags for Tokyo, where I relished the discovery of all that is weird and wonderful about the island nation of Nihon.
I love to travel and adventure, drink wine, hike mountains, capture moments with my camera and obsessively plan...everything. (But, oddly enough, I think the best things in life are the stuff you never plan for.)
Nomad in Nihon was created as a space to document my experiences abroad - in Japan and wherever my wandering heart takes me.
