Scenes from: Yen Duc Village
Truth be told, I tend to agonize over the photography in my blog. I'm aware that if I try to cram 50 photos into every post, I'll lose the readers who may be here solely for informational purposes. But it pains me to leave pictures behind, gathering virtual dust on my hard drive just because they didn't illustrate a specific point. My love for photography stems from the manner in which it transforms the way we look at the world, and tells us a story not only about its subject, but the photographer themselves. So, in an effort to provide some balance, I'm introducing a simple photo series here on the blog to share those pictures that paint my view of the world.
This first series is a collection of photos from our stay in Yen Duc, a peaceful farming village in northeastern Vietnam. I have much more to share from this beautiful countryside escape, so stay tuned!
